2013 Sierra 2500 Duramax

Son was driving truck after putting diesel gas in it and got an error that said
change fuel filter and truck lost all power and won't start.  What could be the
problem? Air in the fuel line?  We just bought this truck a month ago. HELP
Any suggestions on what to try.

The more obvious question would be, does the vehicle have a diesel engine? Adding diesel fuel by accident to a gasoline powered vehicle will give you the issues you just described. You will need the vehicle towed to a mechanic and have the fuel system flushed and cleaned.
