1997 Dodge Dakota 3.9L V6 Runs fine then for a little, stopped at a light stepped on the gas and it bogged out and died.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The truck starts right back up after it dies. I have changed the fuel pump since I had it, spark plugs, PCM, ignition coil, map sensor, and the idle control sensor. I think this is a clogged O2 sensor or the catalytic converter is clogged. Any help would be great!!!

Any codes? How about the wires connecting to the ignition coil or the Mass Air Flow sensor? It sounds like an electrical or air issue, but I am leaning more towards air because you said it restarts.

look for any broken or loose vacuum lines /leaks , give the throttle a blast of carb cleaner

Mrs, the wires look good, no lights on dash. Before I changed the ignition coil and spark plugs the check engine light was on, hooked it up to a computer and said cylinders 2 & 4 where miss firing. Now the light has gone away. I have not changed the mass air flow sensor.
