Question type: Maintenance & Repair

About 2 months ago starting having issues starting but every time I took to dealership they could not find anything. Finally would not start at all, replaced the starter and worked fine for a few weeks and then would not start again.

When I try and start, nothing happens but a single click from under the car and then the radio display goes out and I see the Battery Saving Mode (BSM) icon appears on the dash. After 3 seconds, there is a click at the dash and all BSM icon disappears. When I try and start it again same thing happens.

This happened to me leaving work and had to get a tow truck after swapping to a new battery and was towed to dealership. When we got to dealership car started, so I went home as it was already almost 10 PM after a lond day. Next morning, car would not start again.

Read about lots of folks having alternator issues and swapped it out as well and still won't start.

So now I have replaced the starter, battery and alternator within the last month, what am I missing?

Check the fuel pressure and make sure it's within spec's Try some starting fluid sprayed through the throttle body

Turned out be a loose bolt on the grounding strap that goes from the starter to the engine block.
