2013 Impala totally dead

My wife came out of work key fab didn't  unlock
door. She unlocked with key. Went to start car and
totally dead  and can't get key out.Tried to jump
start  nothing  happened. Dome lite didn't  even
come on

Check the battery cable connections and then the mega fuse.
