2013 Equinox

I would like to know about this also. I have a 2013 Equinox with same issues.
I would like to know about this as I had the same issue and had to replace my engine.
Google it and see if any lawyers have taken this case.
Class action suit finally settled but the dealer said my 2013 2.4L is not included. I have the same oil burning issue and no oil pressure light when my vehicle runs out of oil. I have put 7 quarts in 5,000 miles. Any suggestions?
I have a 2013 as well and I was told by the lawyers that they made changes to the engine for 2013 after March 2013. If your vehicle has a manufactur date before March 2013 you should be part of the suit. They also said that if you received a letter from the lawyers you are part of the lawsuit, just what the lawyers said to me in an email where I asked the question if I was part of the suit. I know we won't see any money from this anyway but I want Chevy to admit that they manufactured a faulty engine.

If you received the letter you should be in it. I believe it said July 2020 and they were found liable so hopefully we get checks soon. Anyone else have trouble with the exhaust cam shaft sensor even after changing the part? I have changed this part twice and the light is still on. The guy at auto zone suggested running seafoam through it. I have always done regular maintenance and oil changes.
I received a letter back in December 2019 that they extended the manufacturer date which included my oil hog of an Equinox. I decided to trade it in the month before because I didn’t think they would extend it prior to me having 120,000 miles on it. I think they are slowing extending the class action because people will Mileage out which makes me really angry with Chevy since this was a known issue for a long time
The letter said my 2013 Equinox vin# was not included on their list! I had that problem way before anyone was talking about the excessive oil usage issue. I had no choice and traded it for a 2019 Acadia .
