my 2013 kia optima temperature is rising when the a/c is on and the car idles

My car's temperature is rising when the car sits at a light or when it idles. This only happens when the A/C is running

If you turn the ac on it should kick the cooling fans on automatically. Check your coolant and make sure it's topped off.
