Asked by 1gzsfrk Nov 11, 2016 at 03:07 PM about the 2000 Dodge Caravan FWD

Question type: General

Looking to buy a 2000 doge caravan. 2.4 engine
with 315,000 miles. Mostly highway. Seems to run
smooth. Any thoughts on longevity of this engine?

At 315,000 mile there is no way I would buy that car, that's way to many miles something big will break for sure.

Unless the car runs good and only costs $200 I would skip it. The engine could go for another 100,000 or just another 100 miles. Everything else on the car has high miles too!
