42RE transmission problem

Asked by GuruVC5R2 Aug 19, 2018 at 12:15 PM about the 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT Club Cab RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck starts off in second gear and is sluggish.
Sometimes it works better than other times, but
always seems a little sluggish it spits out a p1762
code which is the governor pressure sensor but I
replaced it and it still does it when I replaced it it
worked good for a minute and first gear came back
so I think it's electrical but I'm not sure hoping you
guys can shed some light on my problem thank
you
