how do I prevent the radio from coming on when you start the engine?

I recently purchased a 2013 Porsche boxster base. When I start car the radio turns on even when I shut radio off when I shut the car off. Is there a way to set radio, so it does not automaticly come on.

Not that I am aware of. You should be able to just leave the volume set at zero though.

Thanks, but figured it out. You need to push the radio shutoff button for a couple of seconds, then the radio stays off on car startup.
