my 2001 dodge Dakota quad cab idles up and down while sitting in park or driving and now its running extremely rough while driving, feels like she's cutting out. Ideas?

it should be a 4.7 liter unless you have a 5.9r/t, which would have decals on it. sounds like the idle speed sensor is going out.
