Did you ever find an answer. My Escape started doing the same thing.

Took it to Ford and they said that a failure in my aftermarket backup camera caused the beeping. It sensed a "corrupt signal" or whatever that means. The camera was still working. They unplugged it and the beeping stopped but now no backup camera.

Could they just disconnect where the beeping noise is coming from so the camera could be used ?
