Car not reading FAB/got rained in

Asked by Ddykstra13 Sep 15, 2019 at 08:07 AM about the 2013 Ford Escape SE AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I left the sunroof open and the car got rained in. I dried the seats thought
nothing of it. Drove it to work, drove it home now it won't detect the key. I
tried all the tricks of putting it in the central compartment and to the right of
the steering column. The car now has a bunch of fans running in it with the
battery disconnected.

Any suggestions?

Battery replaced in both FABS. Central display is now being a little wonky and has white edges around the black display and the bluetooth won't connect anymore

Try garaging it and then put a fan and heater inside the car with all the windows open. Let them run for a few days and then try to start it.
