is a 2003 crown victoria police interceptor's alternator the same as a 2006. can i just switch them out?

i want to take my alternator out of my 2003 and take a 2006 crown victoria alternator and
put it in my 2003. is this possible.

Yes. We use a 200 Amp alternator that fits all of our Crown Vics.

not quite correct. I have an 03 cvpi and the alternator is 135 amps.

Hey my car is a 2003 crown vic alternators will my car fit one out over a 06 crown Vic p71 my plug in ain't long enoth but it's the same plug
