Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i want to connect alternator wire directly to the battery for charging. As the main
wire of alternator is going to the fuse box providing 14 volts. But coming from
fuse box it is changing to 12 volts that is not sufficient for charging. Dnt know
what is the problem, i think the ecu is an issue. Please provide me solution.
either i connect this directly or not. or change the ecu

Not sure but the 12V power is probably coming from the battery. What are you trying to do?

i want to charge my battery, which is usually giving trouble in starting, the power which is 12 volts is not charging my battery, i am using some other battery through jumper for charging everytime, i think the battery should be powered with some extra voltage which should be 14 volts. this is what going in my mind.

Don't try to re engineer your car. The alternator may be bad. Have it and the battery tested.

alternator is giving 14.something voltage, which is exact requirement for the car. i recently change my new alternator and the battery. seems the issue of ecu, which is not providing sufficient current.

you are right brother, i think this will lead to overcharge of the battery, which is quit dangerous, but what if i charge only with my monitoring of half an hour with engine in run condition, it will charge my battery time being, then i will make it as usual. let me try and i will respond tomorrow with some results. thanks for you reply, hope i will get more suggestions. thanks

ITS ALTERNATOR PROBLEM, IT IS NOT CHARGING. THIS AFTER MARKET PRODUCT LAST FOR 3 MONTH, MY SUGGESTION FOR ANY OF THE GUY WHO HAVE SAME ISSUE DOESN'T BUY AFTERMARKET PRODUCT, BETTER GO FOR ORIGINAL ONE OR REPAIR BY FIXING THE CUTOUT (alternator rectifier).
