where is the horn located under the bonnet?

I can hear the relay click when  i press the hor but no sound comes out of it but when i went to look for it i couldnt find it anywhere. Is it hiding behind another part?

usually behind battery mounted on inside fender or down in the grill area,

Agreed, it will look like a little snail shell, it can be in some funky places, so you'll just have to look around.

I had same complaint for '05 Focus. Found fuse 33 OK (controls current to coil of relay 23, which I could hear clicking when the horn button was pressed). Found the horn under the left (driver's side in US) headlamp next to the radiator. (I had to lie on my back under the car to find it!) The connector at the horn had gotten unplugged (it seemed that connector cable was taped up somewhat short). I cleaned a bit of corrosion off the connector terminals with a small screwdriver, plugged in back onto the horn (had to push quite hard to make it latch on), and the horn was working again.
