Car battery

Asked by Huynh Mar 31, 2018 at 07:24 PM about the 2012 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello every one. I have a Honda Accord 2012, my friend borrowed my car and
she forgot to turn the light off. I just knew it when I was about to use my car two
days later. Surprisingly, I was still able to start my car. I was wondering if the
light automatically turned off? Should I take my car to dealership and have them
check the battery?

Just in case there is something wrong with the battery, take your car to the dealership.

Like CJ says, you're good, since you've driven it since then without an issue.

Thank you so much for all the replies. But would it decrease my battery life though?

If the car started the battery was not run down enough to damage it.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO A DEALER. Go by Orileys or Auto Zone .They will check your battery and charging system for free.
