I am wondering if I can swap over my tires from a 225 65 r16 to 220 60 r16

with 225 65 r16

the 60 series is almost and inch taller and just outside the 3% range. You might get away with them, though they might rub in the front at full lock. I assume you are getting a deal on some used ones?
