When in park truck is idling rough

Question type: General

Have a 2000 gmc Sonoma with a 4.3 engine I have
replace the spark plugs,  cap, wires and spider
injection truck runs fine when driving but when you
are just idling it runs rough what could it be

Well a few things come to mind, a vacuum leak will only cause problems at idle. Also on the other hand a really dirty throttle body can restrict airflow choking off necessary airflow that the engine needs when the throttle blade is fully closed..

I been chasing this for 6 months now ugh , 2003 gmc Sonoma sl 4.3 , rough idol only , also new ac Delco fuel pump , vacum was normal and fuel trims normal , no codes , I took it to mechanic he did a smoke test through the evap side , not sure if the brake booster hose side would of been better , I changed also spider injectiors , and every sensor in the car except purge valve solenoid , since it starts np , runs excellent! , I am now taking it to a Russian specialist who says he is a master for 4.3 I will let him ck it all out again , keep you posted !

Let me add to the list sorry , new distributor, evap solinold , all ac Delco parts , spark plugs , wires , pvc,wires, fuel filter , fuel pump, idle air solenoid in throttlebody, throttle position sensor , brake booster for vac leak , Ignition module, coil , map sensor, mass airflow sensor , Temperature control sensor,
