After swap engine only can start the car tru jump start location no crank with out being jump

If I miss something ...why can I drive the car with out lights on dash like a champ...then after 25 to 30 miles battery is not charging message came out I try to do adaptations with same battery...but nothing double checks grounds...all good ...the car stay disconnect from battery like a week waiting 4 gaskets and injectors kit....the SUV is 2.0t 2012 and I put a 2.0 09 CAE SERIAL NUMBER ON bouts
