Engine replaced but same thing happened

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi, so at 112,000 miles due to the recall my engine was replaced by dealer and
gave me rental and all was fine. I went back for another recall a year or so later
for faulty fuel pipe inspection which they did and replaced that. All good until
tonight when exact same thing happened first time, all lights came on dash,
lost power, steering wheel locked up, no power, car died. Now has 182,000
miles, about 70,000 on the new replaced engine ( don’t know if the
replacement engine was actually new or refurbished ) either way my question
is that, is there any warranty on the replacement engine since exact same
thing happened as first time around?

It could be just a dead battery. Have it tested. But any questions on your engine warranty, you need to take it up with your Hyundai dealer as we don't have the specifics.
