How do you update the GPS on a 2012 Hyundai Genesis?

We are getting the runaround about updating the GPS in my husband's
Genesis.  I can't believe it doesn't automatically update... something about
buying the CDs and the dealership will "install" it for a couple hundred dollars.

Does not update itself, yes you need to order the CD abd have the dealership install the updates, lots of car do it this way....
