what would cause a weak spark

Could be a lot of things. Spark plugs, coils, corroded wires, bad power supply or even bad connections in the spark plug boot under the coil. If you have a weak spark issue i would suggest replacing the plugs and testing the coils. Make sure to use dielectric grease on the connection. Hope this helps
