I HAVE 2001 CHRYSLER SEBRING 2.7 MOTOR HAS A LEAK I POUR WATER IN AND STARTS TO LEAK BETWEEN OIL PAN AC COMPRESSOR THERES A HOSE BUT DONT SEE THE LEAK???

Check the hose good,if it is not the hose,it is possible that it has a intake gasket leak or head gasket issue.

mechanic just said it can be water pump 180 for labor and i have to buy parts???

Could be pump,but all so could be a leaking hose,if you are confident of the mechanic,and feel safe to his answer,fix the pump,but if you are skeptical,get another opipion.

yes The water pump is driven by the back side of the engine's primary timing chain...// and has a weep hole that exits out the side of the engine so the coolant does not leak into the engine oil....// if you gonna do the pump you might as well do the chain as well it shouldn't be any more labor considering it has to be removed any how just more for parts
