It might be worth finding someone who can scan the trans control mod. before tearing it apart blindly. being that is is stuck in second it is in limp mode so you can drive it slowly to the dealer

Do u know where the trans controls is located on this car iv googled every thing and can't find hardly anything on the 3.0 only on other style's

my 99' sebring was low on trans fluid and I put a half quart of the wrong fluid in. my trans went into "limp mode" (stuck in 2nd gear). i did a complete trans flush and this did not fix the problem. the transmission is still stuck in 2nd. can somebody please give me a solution that will not require replacing the trans? 6 Answers
