what would cause a 2008 f150 4/4 to vibrate also shut off along with a loud knocking while sitting and or while bavking up?

the truck run find until after a short time of driving it.then it will start vibrating but smooth
itself out than turn the wheel to back up to park or just backing up the will vibrate with a
loud knocking noise but shortly it will stop  and also something it will shut off.

Is the knocking noise coming from the engine? If you sit in it (in park) and turn the wheel, does it still vibrate? Look at the engine while someone turns the wheel. Is the engine vibrating or is in the powering steering unit.
