Whirring sound

I just put in a new alternator. Car still makes whirring g sound. Any thoughts??

If that sound you notice is when you are driving the car, then it is possible that there may be bad wheel bearings.

Some rebuilt alternators are noisy. If you don't like it, take it back.

Listen carefully for the source of the noise. If it happens when the car is idling then it is not wheel bearings. Maybe it is a bad idler wheel bearing.
