If the tires lock on me can that be the transmission too?

Hi i was driving my 2003 bmw 325xi touring and
the tires just locked on me. Car will only move at
2 miles an hour and it'll lock again. It has
transmission fluid but i think the transmission is
going bad. Any suggestions to what might be
wrong?

Are the tires actually locked or does the car just not move when you give it gas? It could be the transmission or the brake system. I think you need a mechanic to look at it.

1999 BMW 323i 4door Sedan.....My right front headlight has a wire coming off it and the I can really wee what that wire needs to be attached to it has the attacher still attched but it is just dangling? 2 Answers

It is coming off the left bulb assembly wire hoping to not have to take the bumper off ahve the car jacked up but I can't see to figure out what it goes too any help would be greatly appreciated

I have a 2005 Bmw 330i zhp. I was driving out of a gas station when it suddenly started making engine noise, then the oil light came on, then the check engine light. I drove it about 2 miles home where i parked it. I scanned it and now reads p0012. I changed out the Vanos sensor $200 later and it did not fix. I have checked the oil filter and it looks okay. I run 93 octane and use castrol fully synthetic with perfect changed invtervals. I reset the code and the check engine light went away but the oil light is alluminated from the start and its RED. The engine makes a ticking/knocking noise as if it has something inside it rattling. Just got the car back a few weeks ago from the transmission shop $2500 LATER and now its doing this. I dont know what it could be and i cant just continue to throw money into it. Can anyone please tell me what this could be? this is really hard on me as its my only car.. 4 Answers

The OBC that measures mileage on my 2009 335I (and then uses that to measure miles to empty) has gone crazy. Is there a way of resetting, or is it a problem that must be fixed at BMW repair. 1 Answer
