Rear Hatch won't stay UP

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hatch will not STAY OPEN. Its not the struts. I've replaced them. Possibly the
locking system? geeeez...I'm going nuts!

If the struts are the only thing holding up the hatch then it is the struts. Maybe you got the wrong ones?

My guess would be that you bought cheap aftermarket junk struts and not the ones from the dealership. Dealership parts sometimes cost more, but they will fit and work every time.
