Car wont start right away

Asked by Brittany Jul 19, 2017 at 12:14 PM about the 2006 Chrysler 300 Touring AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My drive shaft broke a couole days ago, fixed that.
The car had NO other issues before this. After we
fixed it the car now doesn't want to start right away,
if you crank it for a few it will finally fire up. Once
you get to about 55-60 if you let go of the gas a
little bit it jerks (miss firing?) As it slows down. We
changed the spark plugs last night and still having
the same issue.

It did happen while i was driving, going about 30mph. I was told it was the universal joint and driveshaft. We replaced it at home.
