Cadillac problem due to starter jamming in transmission

I like to think person answer my question I appreciate it the thing is I am a good
backyard mechanic I've been doing this for over 30 something years the thing is
Cadillac or new for me since I've had him only for 4 years my question was my
starter jammed in my flywheel the top part of the starter broken jam between a
flywheel after putting a new starter in it it will not start no cuz of the starter
jamming would that cause a really to stop working is the transmission relating
a cold to the computer but there's your bad really somewhere that's what I need
to know thank you

The starter is located under the intake manifold. You'll be better off having the vehicle towed to a repair shop that's familiar with the Northstar engine. Hope that helps! Jim
