I ran out of gas and since then the car won't start,  .

Maybe the fuel pump died. Do you hear it hum when you turn the key on?

Sorry, I got confused. Too many questions on too many websites...lol I'm need to reset the anti theft, security system on my 1997 cadillac deville. Anyone know how to do this effectively.
