No fuel pressure

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Ford f150 5.4 has no fuel pressure. I took off the fuel rail and replaced
all of the injectors and reinstalled it and now I have no fuel pressure. How do I
fix this. I check the cut off switch it's fine. When I turn the key you can here the
pump in the tank Hume for about a second. The truck truns over but will not
start. I have a OBD reader and when watching the fuel pressure it pops up a lot
0.01 but drops off. No where close to 30 lb.

You have to have more pressure than that, need around 50-60 at least. Why do you not suspect fuel pump? Just because it hums doesn't mean it is pumping enough pressure. Does it build up pressure than come down, maybe indicating a spillage down the line? Do you smell gas, as if it were leaking? I suspect fuel pump but that's just me! Is the relay faulty?

Okay, so my f150 5.4 w/ 176000 miles has a tapping sound that has gotten worse. I have change my plugs and bad coils, Change oil on time, and just had a full engine diagnostics done. Nothing is wrong with anything internal. They said it sounds like valve chatter, maybe sludge built up. I also had po420-po430 codes a while back, I ran emissions cleaner in my gas and the CEL is gone. I know that doesnt mean my cars are good now. When I am at a constant speed and hit the gas it bogs down and jumps to accelerate. With over drive off, it does better. Maybe cause higher rpm?.. Im puzzled on How I can stop the tapping and fix the bogging issue
