2000 Cadillac Deville won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changed starter car will not engage. Could it be fly wheel or
crank shaft sensors?

I am assuming the starter was no good before and the car was not starting so you are installing a new one, are you sure you have the correct starter installed??? does the new starter turn? if so it may not be close enough to grab on to the flywheel...
