2000 Cadillac Deville won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi,  after jumping my sisters car I drove home fine.
When I went to start my car a couple hours later it
wouldn't start. I tried jumping it but it still wouldn't
start.  My starter sounds like it is trying to start but
not getting enough power!  How can I reground the
starter to see if I can get it to start.  I am a single
mom with little money so I need to fix this myself!
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

Have your battery tested along with the alternator at the local parts store. If you can't get the car there, just take the battery for a "load test". It sounds like it is probably old and it just can't take the starting load anymore.
