Asked by Cldearmond Apr 04, 2018 at 10:19 PM about the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took it in to a  authorize  Chevy dealer
and they said they think it’s a  bent or burnt
valve... It only has 125000 on the miles. I
think they are wrong.  Any suggestions ???

Find another dealership lol They are trying to get some good work out of you for something that literally has no relation whatsoever. ESC (Electronic Steering Control) and Traction Light (Disabled) both relate to ABS system concerns (like a bad wheel speed sensor) NOTHING to do with bent valves or your engine at all. Unless your motor is running so bad that its stalling out, the 2 are not related.

Mine is doing the same thing. Report your issue to https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/VehicleComplaint/ so the government can investigate Chevy. Too many people having the same issue.
