Yoo I have an 05 deville got new radiator and thermo but still gets hot in the city and I’ve read that the purge line that carries coolant to the radiator gets clogged up. I was going to clean it but I need new hoses because they’re so corroded. Take your engine cap off it’s the long black line. Feel it after a drive, and if it’s hot that could be a problem. Take it off and clean it with a coat hanger and spray water through it. Should help a bit

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you have a head gasket problem. I know because I do to and being in denial looked for other causes but that's the caddilac curse
