Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2011 Chevy Malibu LT FlexFuel-- First the power steering sensor was
going out for about a month making it very hard to turn. Now its back
working on its own. Now it revved really high and moved very slow when I
would accelerate at a green light or on the free way When I put my car in
reverse and I stepped on the gas the car would just start revving and the
RPM needle will jump really high but the car wouldn't move quickly. It's as if
the car is in neutral. Then I set the car on drive and stepped on the gas
and the car started to move slowly. I tried the reverse again but same thing
happened. What might be the problem?
