Looking at the Ford Escape (2nd Gen) how do you know if it has the AWD option?

Thanks Tom, I read way too many blogs on this but one other person said something similar. I took a look at the Escape in question and sure enough, out of the tranny in the front there were 'drive axles' going to the front wheels and a drive shaft going to the rear to what would pass for a rear diff. Out of the rear diff were small but could pass for drive axles going to the rear wheels. So with your post it is case closed. Again, thanks. Phred44
