what to do or buy used or new car ?

how bad is rusting ? is it worth to buy used 530D 2002 88000 km driven,
or better to buy a differant car new not bmw, as we will be retiring in three years time,

All depends on your taste. If it were me I would probably be spending the money on an Acura TL or a Lexus GS or ES.
