What does the CVM emblem mean on my 540i

If you live anywhere near Mechanicsburgh Pa then it is Cumberland Valley Motors


The only thing I found had to do with hydraulics associated with a convertible top. Loosely translated - constant velocity motor. As David said, it could be a third party emblem.
