First you fix the problem that caused the light to come on, then you reset the light with a scanner.

You can not reset it, you can erase it for a while by disconnecting the battery but it will come back on til you fix the problem. Check for codes and repair the issue. After you repair it, you can reset it or it will reset by itself after you drive it for a while.
