Is this car worth purchasing?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone, I am looking to purchase my first car for college. The car I am
really interested in is a 2005 BMW that appears to be in 8.5/10 condition with
115,000 miles and is only $2000. I went to take a look at the car and used by
OBD Code readers and took the car for a test drive. The seller says that the
car has some sort of leak and this causes the car to heat up, when test
driving the car I was only able to drive for a couple minutes before I had to
stop. I also noticed that the car is unable to go above 20 miles per hour and
"jerks back" while driving, I am not sure what the cause of this is. When I take
a look at what my OBD reader pulled up, it initially gave 4 codes:
P0174,P0171, P0304, and PO599. However, after driving the car for barely a
couple minutes, my reader also picked up this code P0117 - I believe this is
related to the fact that the engine was heating up excessively.  On top of the
price of the car budget, I can only afford to spend a few hundred dollars on
repairs. Should I ask the seller for a lower price? Is this car worth it? Thank
you guys so much, I really appreciate any help.
