Question type: Maintenance & Repair

200

You did not say how many miles are on the car. It sounds like it is looking for transmission maintenance. Forget about lifetime oil. BMW wants to sell you a new transmission. It may be too late it may need major maintenance if you are getting the limp mode. You do need to see a transmission specialist.
