Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1085 325e. My car starts fine when the engine is cool, but if I shut it off then try to start it right away it has trouble starting. What may be the problem?

It depends for how long you run the car, if you let it run for a while it might not start because the engine is flooded and you have to wait for it to run out. It could also be a variety of problems such as sensors or other things...check the error code

To check the code Put your key into the ignition but not starting the car, only until the accessories come on and its starts to ding inside the car. Then press down and release the gas pedal 5 times and then let off the gas. The check engine light will then blink you the error code, pausing about 1 second in between numbers. It will be a four digit code and whatever you get just search it online
