I have a 2011 Chevy Impala and for
some reason I cannot get my blower or
the climate control blower to shut
completely off even when I turn it all the
way to the left which should shut it off...
it still blows ... I cannot get it to shut
completely off... i still feel the heat or
cool ... yhave looked at the manual and
it does not address how to set the

This is a bad blower motor resistor that is bad. Just follow the wire from the blower motor and it is right next to the blower motor, under the passenger side inside under the dash.

Bigcountry believe that it's a hot wire is grounding against something. But the wires are running with the blower, sometimes a ground can be working as nutrail wire it's were hot wire transfer some juice thur the ground wire. it because it has a in line fuse and that fuse could be running from the battery thu the wiring harness. I am going to say check wires running with the blower first. if the exhaust is running in the front it could have burned the wire. thanks David Bigcountry Wardlaw,

I have a 2010 Impala and just went threw this. It is the blower motor resistor. The blower motor and resister is inside the car like I had said.
