my car starts up but when i put it in any gear (drive, reverse, neutral) it doesn't move . I press the gas whle its in drive and it makes clanking noise like metal is rubbing together , help ?

Something has broke, do not attempt to drive it any more and have it towed or pulled to the shop for repairs.

If you keep trying to drive it then it may well make the issue worse and a more costly repair.
