Getting service esc, low traction, engine
power reduced. Can this be related to a
flat tire situation

Electronic Stability Control. You probably have a issue with a wheel speed sensor.

was there ever a solution to this. mine is doing it now and i just got this car.

One of my four tires is not registering it’s tire pressure because the tms sensor in the valve isn’t working or died. I bet that’s why I’m getting the two messages: Service ESC and Service Traction.

I have a tire pressure sensor out and I am getting the same messages now--just once in a while. Took car in and they said nothing wrong...probably just the sensor causing the trouble.
