Is your blower motor working? If you have plenty of air coming out but it's just not cold, your condenser could be bad or you could have lost all of you A/C gas. Best to bring it to a pro and have them figure it out. Unless you have lots of A/C experience, it's not a simple thing to tackle yourself. Unless you have all the gauges and gas tanks, you won't be able to properly diagnose the problem or fill it if low on gas.

The above answer is great. But like he asked, is the blower motor putting out air through the vents? If so, it probably is the A/C system itself. If there is no air blowing, check fuses first. Do you hear the vent motor running when the car, radio and wife are shut off? Does the heater when on put out heat? If not, it may be the motor to the ventilation system or perhaps a connector tube to the vent system is blocked or off. Is the trap doors working when switched from heat to AC?

Trish, could be a bad compressor, a leak, or water in the system. Unfortunately, you will have to take it in to be properly diagnosed. No way of telling unless you own all the fancy A/C specialty tools to fix these systems.

Probably a bad condenser. But there's no way of telling. Best to bring it to an A/C pro and have it looked at.

I have a 06 Aveo and on the Driver side only vent, near widow..It blows lightly, compared to the other 3 vents. No difference on Hot or Cold you barely feel it. I cleaned and replaced cabin filter it was FULL of leaves and twigs. Could any of this passed through and cause a clog?

marrick: The answer is yes , debris could have accumulated inside your air transfer pipes. If you can get to the pipes and disconnect them, try sticking a hose of a vacuum up the pipe and clean it out. Even taping a large end of a rubber hose to the end of the vacuum tube and run it up the tubes, it will help. depending on the size of the tubes, even a baby bottle scrub brush may help. Don't forget dirt and dust get into the popes and when damp will coat and cake up restricting the air flow. It will be work, but on those hot summer days, you'll be grateful for the hard work.
