Question type: Car Customization

When installing an HID kit for low beam lights on a 2011 sonata, do you have to cancel the drl and if so where is the fuse or what do I need to do?

installing aftermarket HID kits is illegal just a heads up.

Well, the dealer wanted an extra $800.00 for H.I.D. lights on my car when I bought it last month. I just did not see paying them $800.00 when I can buy them and install them myself. I had no idea that H.I.D. kits are illegal, besides they have them in Infinity, Lexas, and Audi.

When they come factory installed it's all good. Aftermarket kits don't contain the light properly and are illegal. The kit your looking at buying I bet says for off road use only somewhere.

If you are in a country (Canada) or state where DRL is mandatory you cannot disable them. Are you in the US?
