2010 BMW 328i

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2010 328i has 105,000 miles on it.  It now needs a oil pan gasket and spark
plugs and possible other repairs that I don't yet know about.  The service
manager at the dealership told me that now things will start going wrong and it
wouldn't be a bad idea to buy a new 330.  Do I pay the repair costs (approx.
$1500+) and hope nothing else goes wrong, or do I trade it in for a new one?

First get a repair estimate from a top notch independent BMW shop. You will likely save a lot of money and they don't have a conflict of interest either.

Never changes you can make car payments or pay for repairs, I think the mileage is low for a beemer give it another Hundred thousand then consider replacement, unless you like that new car smell.

If BMW's are only a 100,000 mile car then buying a new one is going to cost you a lot. Ask the dealer if their cars are so crappy that you have to dump them at 100k!

Man, the salesman saw you coming from a mile away. I wouldn't trust a word out of their mouth. I'm with FOR, get a quote from an independent shop, these guys are taking you to the cleaners.
